Petitioner in person - information required.

Dear All

I want to know if a Petitioner in Person who is not a Lawyer has to wear Advocate's Robes while presenting his/her case?

What are the other points that differentiates the Petitioner in Person from a Lawyer?

Also if anyone is successfull here as a Petitioner in Person, please share the experience like how to start the case, how to address, do's and dont's etc here or on the email adsemail.2012@gmail.com

Thanks in advance for the support.

Regards

Gulzar.

IT IS NOT ADVISABLE TO APPEAR AS PETITIONER IN PERSON . LAWYERS HAVE IMMUNITY WHEN APPEARING FOR THEIR CLIENTS WHERE AS THE PETITIONER DON'T HAVE ANY SUCH IMMUNITY . THERE ARE MANY MORE MATTERS THAT CANNOT BE PUT HERE IN PUBLIC FORUM . WHY ARE YOU SO AFRAID OF LAWYERS . DO YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY OR YOU HAVE LOST FAITH IN THE LAWYERS COMMUNITY . DON'T TAKE SUCH RISKS. ONLY THIS MUCH I CAN CAUTION YOU AGAINST APPEARING AS PARTY IN PERSON . - JOSEPH WILFRED - 03/01/2013 AT 02.38 HRS.
