Pf deductions on salaries paid for four months together

WE HAVE ONLY ONE EMPLOYEE IN OUR ORGANISATION.HIS PF DEDUCTIONS AND CONTRIBUTIONS ARE REGULARLY AND PROMPTLY REMITTED IN TIME. THIS ONLY EMPLOYEE WAS ON AUTHORISED LEAVE (DULY APPROVED PAID LEAVE) FOR FOUR MONTHS AND RECENTLY REPORTED FOR DUTY IN NOVEMBER 2015 AFTER COMPLETING NEARLY FOUR MONTHS' LEAVE. HIS SALARY FOR THESE FOUR MONTHS WAS PAID IN ONE LUMP SUM ONLY NOW IN NOVEMBER 2015 AFTER HIS RETURN FROM LEAVE. REQUEST EXPERT GUIDANCE ON PF DEDUCTION AND REMITTANCE ON SALARY PAID NOW FOR FOUR MONTHS.  HOW HIS TOTAL WAGES SHOULD BE SHOWN IN REMITTANCE CHALLAN? CAN THIS BE TREATED AS SALRY PAID IN ARREARS? KINDLY GUIDE AND OFFER YOUR EXPERT OPINION. THANKS

The day for payment of earned wages is fixed as per various enactments applicable to establishment/employer/employee.

The employee was on approved leave and his payouts were to be paid to him even if he was on leave on fixed day, alongwith salary slip.

You are liable to be penalized for delay in payment of salary (per instance),TDS, PF,ESIC etc

The salary can not be shown as arrears in this case.

The corporate can afford and  may avail the service of an able Labor Law Consultant.
