Police not taking action on court order

Earlier posted this query And was suggested to file a contempt of court  petition against the SHO who did not implement the court order.

Now how many adjournments ,this petition might go for final order , or  is it going to take  a year or more, like any other criminal or civil case ?

Will the petition be put up on the same magistrate court or in the high court. Which one is quicker please??

Have you failed the contempt of court petition, if not you may consult your own advocate and proceed as per his advice on all such further issues.

Consult your lawyer who is well aware about facts and circumstances of the case, able, competent. intelligent enough to satisfy your questions, engaged, paid and duty bound to clear your doubt(s) on the subject.

Surely I did consult a local counsel, he says the contempt matter will not happen in one hearing. It may take 3 or 4 if we put pressure on PO. Otherwise in normal course 6 or more adjournments that means a year time frame ????
