Power of attorney

My father wishes to give me power of attorney to execute rent agreements on his behalf for a property we own in Pune. I wish to know if the power of attorney needs to be on a stamp paper and has to be notarized and registered. Can it be on a blank paper and be franked instead?

PA should be on stamp paper

Since it deals with immovable property, it has to be registered

I agree with the opinion of Mrs. jayashree madam.  It should be on stamp and registered.
