Product labelling (imported Goods-Non perishable)

Hello Sir/Madam, I am currently looking towards importing fast moving consumer goods (non-perishable & non food based product). I have some questions on the packaging and labelling of the product: I understand that every product should have the name and address of the importer, commodity generic name, quantity and weight in Standard International units, month and year of packaging and the manufacturer details. My questions are: 1. Do I need any certification from any government agency for the packaging and labelling? 2. Is it mandatory to have the manufacture's details, like address or the country in which the product was manufactured? Thank You
