If a person dies intestate, I believe his daughters have equal rights over his self-acquired property as his sons. From which year is this law come into force in Karnataka ? Does the year of marriage of the daughters have any bearing on this law?

All over India if any hindu person dies intestate his daughter acquired the equel right as the son. Question of getting married or unmarried does not effect the law.
Thanks
