Protest petition to Magistrate.

Respected members i had approached the magistrate u/s 156(3) and got an FIR order. However no action has been taken by the police they haven't even taken my statement or handed me the FIR copy. The sections also are deliberately non bailable by police whereas in the incident it is clearly mentioned that accused threatened to shoot me however no 506 IPC is charged. Kindly enlighten me what should be my approach? Should i file a protest petition to get the status of the FIR and get relevant sections added? Thanking you

You may approach concern magistrate for direction to police for act without any bias to IO, in case inquiry is not completed by IP then magistrate may direct him to complete inquiry in time bound period.
