Can anybody tell me about quitclaim law?
Me and my brother has property on our name. He will be quiting his claim on the property. We can do that by release deed, but then we have to pay stamp duty on his share. Will quitclaim deed will satify my need?
I heard that, quitclaim is simple form which a person signs and has notarized and then filed with the clerk of the court. Is it the same way? and if Yes how much cost it involves.
We have the property in maharashtra state.
