I registered my marriage in 2004. However, I have spelled my mothers name wrong in marriage certificate.When I contacted the register office to get it corrected, they say it will take more than a month to get it done. But I need my marriage certificate really quick. I could get my marriage certificate in a day or two if I register again. Is it legally right if I register my marriage again with the same details but my mothers name correctly spelt.?
