Dear sir/madam
Is recording of telephone call is legal? if somebody does so without any permission & police put-up it in charge sheet in court as evidence, can my friend file any petition in high court against complainant under telecom act ?or he has to wait till verdict or any other solution. The under sections are 406,420.

The recording of telephonic conversation is subject to Indian Telegraph act/Copyright acts,The Recording is subject to certain procedures without which the recording can be termed as illegal.here is the link which could help you.
