Recovery agent harassment

This is now their way to get the money,since they don't want to file any cases being expensive and unceratin.

It is better to pay regularly at proper times to aviod humiliation. 

They want to keep the pressure maintained upon you. If you file police complaint they may harress you by other ways and may create problem;Need to tolerate them until the loan is cleraed off..

Reserve Bank of India has laid down a model code of conduct for recovery agents this may be serches at the web sie of RBI . If any recovery agent is flouting the norms you may file complaint with reserve Bank and in the complaint you may name the branch manager of the bank also. An complaint may be filed with banking ombundsman. you  have not mentioned what kind of loan you ar having . Consumer remedy may be diffent for diffrent loans.
