Mediation center is a place where they check the adjusting nature AND the stubborness of both husband and wife. How do they check? They will give one topic to discuss, namely your marriage and ask a few questions about it. You will have to answer/argue the questions asked by the mediators. More you argue, the more points you get. Dont let the husband win. Argue. And after the checking is over, the mediators will send a report to the Women Cell/Magistrate about it. You may check about the results of mediation with the Women's Cell through your lawyer or self.
[If you are good at arguing, argue to the greatest extent possible. Dont listen to the mediators if they suggest something, in turn threaten them of dire consequences and tell them you will file case against them too !!!!!!!!!!!!!! On hearing this, they will finish mediation session in 2 minutes and themselves run away.]

Mediation is a process in which husband and wife can talk freely without bothering legal technicalities. Their arguments will not be recorded. The proposals put by either wife or husband will not be recorded. If the mediation fails, the argumens and proposals will not be sent to court. So, without fear, whatever you want, your demands or desires can be put before the mediator either to restore the matrimonial life of to snap the ties with less mental tension and court expenses. In India, the person who wins the court case also at the end of the day feels unsatisfied due to long delays and avoidable expenses. So, you can put your view point before the mediator. You need not to succumb to any pressure also because some times mediator's persuation appears or borders to pressure. As I am available in Tis Hazari, if you already do not have any advocate, contact me for a few tips before appearing for mediation.
