Dear Sir/Madam,
I have taken the possession of my flat at Kolkata in February-2016. The flat is jointly owned by me & my wife. The Registration etc. was done in February 2016. The Housing loan was processed from SBI -Rajkot(Gujarat) & the Equitable Mortgage has been created at SBI RACPC-Rajkot dated 17th of May -2016, I want to know whether Equitable Mortgage Registration can be done here at Rajkot or it will be done from Kolkata since my property is located at Kolkata. Also, Whether the above EM created in May is valid or I need to get it re-validated.
I have approached SBI several times but there seems to be no clarity.
