Well I am on other side of the boat.

Case

I am a tenant succeeding father. Altogether we ( 15 flats all tenant) are staying for 90 years. The paltry rent we are paying regularly.

The flat owner asked us to vacate we refused. He stopped water and maintinence. We started drawing water and repair and up keep of the building. The owner went to court preying for our eviction.  He lost the case on this ground.

But there is a rumor. Centre is amending the act. The act will say That the property belongs to the owner. So if owner wants the tenant to vacate they have to vacate. All other reasons in favor of the tenants will be Withdrawn. Possibly a notice period of two months will be given.

So let us wait and pray against each others wish.
