Token Rent of Govt Building

 Total Replies : 1

Sanjeev Gupta     24 October 2018One Govt Nazool building was leased out to Club on a token rent of Rs 100 per year for club activities with no condition of rent revision as per Rajasthan Govt order but at the time of signing of lease agreement condition was added that the rent will be revised every five years without mentioning the mode of revision as to how much it will be revised. I want to know sir whether the rent is to be revised as it was leased out on token rent and rent needs to be rvised for any building leased out on token rent.

If the Lessor and Lessee agree to revise the clause by way of rectification to the Original Lease deed, they on mutual agreement, can revise the clause and then rent also.
