I am having 1bhk flat in Mulund Mumbai in a residential area. One chartered accountant firm had approached me for renting of the said flat on Leave and License basis. Is it legal to do so? since I don't want to involve in any illegal activity.

Chartered accountant activities coming online nowadays. Very rare visiting by their clients nowadays. so residential societies can be permitted. Moreover it is legal activities firm but not illegal.
