Renting out deceased father's property & lease registration

Hi :

My father passed away in end of 2012 and we are now left with three 3 siblings as legal heirs .

We have an unregistered WILL for the property , If we want to rent out the property and get a lease registered, is it possible or would need to first transfer the property ownership and then only can we get lease registered .

First of all you need to get the property ownership transferred in the names of the beneficiaries of the Will, then you can execute any lease.

But Archana ji how can one "transfer ownership of a property" in case of registered or unregistered Will , will the mutation at MCD be treated as "transfer of ownership".
