Yes.  Certainly positions like for example (president of state consume forum/ national consumer forum or any appellate tribunals) require expertise knowledge and good experience in passing judgments.  Moreover newly recruited judges may lack experience and may find difficult to deal issues pertaining to serious question of law and hence it is necessary that services of retired judges are required.

no never.once retired alwyes retired.if they  reappointed then what is meaning of retired age?u can fill up these post  from acting judges  or from lawyers.  lot of  eminant lawyers  are available in our country .

LAST YEAR I ASK THIS QUESTION TO ALL INDIAN LAWYERS.BUT THE RESPONCE WAS ONLY MUMING BY ADVOCATE.WE ALL INDIAN LAWYERS/BARCOUNCIL OF INDIA/STATE SHOULD CONDEMNED OF THIS CILY PROCEDURE BECOZ ONCE RETIRE ALLWAYES RETIRED.IF NOT THEN THEN YOU MAKE RETIREMENT AGE FOR EACH AND EVERY DEPARTMENT.INSPITE OF THAT LIKE ARMY THERE SHOULD BE SHORT SERVISE COMMISSION SHOULD BE FOLLOW IN JUDICIERY AND 15 YERS OF BOND SHOULD BE THERE BECOZ 60 TO 70%JUDGES ARE USELESS IN INDIA BY VERIOUS REASON. THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT ONLY CHIEF JUSTICE OF INDIA SHOULD GET ADVANTAGE OF IMPEACHEMENT NOT OTHER JUDGES.THEY SHOULD TREAT LIKE A COMAN MAN.THEY ARE INDULGING UNDUEADVANTAGES OF THE POST.AND THE PROCEDURE FOR IMPEACHEMENT IS VERY NONCENSE PROCESSES BECOZ WHAT IS THE ROLE OF PARLIAMENT WHILE APPOINTMENTING HIGHCOURT JUDGES THEN WHY SHOULD PARLIAMENT HAVE ALLOTED THIS RIGHT.REMOVE THIS PROCEDURE INDIA WILL GATE REAL JUDGES AND REAL JUSTICE IN JUDICIARY. ALL COUNTRY SHOULD HAVE TO REBBLE FOR THIS.
