Meenakshi (Lawyer)     11 December 2009

U mean spouse....Live in relations are legal now and mistress is what they call are now entitled to 50 % of the property........i.e half of the Husbands property....(.50/50 between the two women)

Anish goyal (Advocate)     11 December 2009

Minakshi g i don't agree with you. Live in relations are not made legal. Could you please clarify it. No share to second woman without marriage

Adv Archana Deshmukh (Practicing Advocate)     11 December 2009

I agree with Anish, women in such relationships have got rights only to the extent of claiming maintainance, but they are not entitled  to inherit any property along with the wife

prakash vathore ( lawyer)     12 December 2009

sorry meenakshi but mr. ashish and miss archana is correct.

Khaleel Ahmed Mohammed (Advocate )     12 December 2009

Quarry is not clear.

I think it is not spouce but Keep.

Keeps cannot get any share in the property .
