RTI Act is a joke played upon us. It prescribes copying charges at Rs.2 per page for A4 size paper. Registrar of Company is charging Rs.25 per page. Under RTI, inspection is free. ROC charges Rs.50 for inspection. The beauty is that CIC says RTI Act does not apply when different rates have been prescribed under other laws! Jai Ho. Another beauty. RTI says "notwithstanding". In the case of ROC documents, everything is withstanding.
