Dear Advocates,
Few days back I have filed a ITR in our local municipal corporation related to a person who is very dominating & having criminal background. Now I am scared that the municipal corporation officer may give information to the person that I have filed a ITR related to him because my name & contact number is mentioned in ITR form.
Is it obligatory on part of government officer to keep ITR data & person's information confidention or can they revel the information to anybody ?
Kindly advice further I am very scared & worried.
