Movable assets claim after signing letter of disclaimer

After demise of both my parents ,both intestate (Hindu religion)  ,my brother asked me to sign letter of disclaimer for bank account and family locker under the promise that he will give me my share ,i kept following for 10 months ,he has done the death claim settlement for both locker and bank account based on the letter of disclaimer i signed ,now he is refusing to give my share
Do i have a weak case as i signed letter of disclaimer ?
Should i file both civil and criminal suit ?
What are the chances of verdict in my favour ?
I have the signed documents soft copy

You can file a suit for recovery of your share of money from him on the basis of the documentary evidences in your support.

Issue legal notice through a local lawyer to your brother to share the amount with you.
