Rules under wbpt act 1997 :deadline of monthly rent payment

What is the PRESCRIBED PERIOD for payment of monthly rent by a tenant under Sec.5(1) of WBPT act 1997?

Every tenant shall pay rent to the landlord or his
authorised agent within the prescribed period. The period is not clearly mentioned in the Act.
