Safety grill in apartment

Hi All

I recently moved in to an apartment in Bangalore as a tenant. As there is no safety grill in my balcony, I have installed a temporary metallic mesh for the safety of kids. As I see a great risk over there when kids peep over the railing. Association is demanding to remove it as it is mentioned in Bye laws not to put any metallic mesh, in spite it is temporary. The reason they say is it disturbs the elevation or view of the building. My doubt is, when it comes to matter of safety can Bye laws can stop me to do some temporary arrangements. Who will be responsible if any mishap happens?

Which law gives me protection as a tenant to protect my rights against the Bye Laws.

You try to resolve this matter amicably with Society if they don't agree then you complaint to registrar of society or you can file court case.
