1. Depending of type of offence/s, there is no bar to police to conduct Search any premises, without any warrant.

1. Police is empowerd to re-investigate on getting new clues /leads /information /whatever.....  This can be done upto date of filing Charge Sheet.  Further even after filing charge sheet, investigation /search is possible and charge sheet can be modified, with permission of court, based on new findings /information.

Dear Sir,

Neither police is empowered to reinvestigate nor chargesheet can be modified.

Police has power to further investigate on the directions of the Court and based on that further investigation supplementary chargesheet is filed.
