Sec. 31(5) Arbitration Act 1996

Since the Arbitration Act is silent about the stamp duty for Arbitral award, kindly answer the following questions.

1. Since the parties are entitled to correct the typographical errors within a month after publication of the arbitral award, is it necessary to endorse in stamp paper before the arbitrator publish the award? Please explain the application of sec. 31(5) of 1996 act.
2. Whether the stamp duty is applicable for the total amount with pendentelite interest or only for the principal amount?
