Respected Ld. friends,
A friend of mine has arranged another friend as bail surity for him in a S. 498a case. Now that friend says he wish to be removed and asks this common friend of ours to arrange another bail surity in the same S. 498a case asap.
I wish to know how it is done (contents of application ? / Section used in applciation ? other details) please.

dear sir,
if anybody stood as surety for any accused in any criminal case and subsequently wants to be discharged from this liability, all he has to do is to file a petition u/s 444 crpc,stating that he wants to be free from the liability, for some reason.
but,the accused has to produce/ substitute another surety, to avoid remand.
