Yes, you may send the legal notice. However, nowadays, such amounts are directly credited into the account of the concerned person.

You have not even clearly intimated where the chequ was.

As per your latest post, you seem to have already  taken appropriate legal action on the subject matter even before approaching this forum for opinions,  however you are here to test the skills of the experts of this forum,  hence it can be termed that you have not approached this forum with clean thoughts since you have  suppressed the material facts so far in all your posts.

I had taken the steps post approaching this forum only.  This was suggested mostly in the forum and hence there is no suppression of facts .

Am yet to get reply from them and my lawyer has suggested to wait for week.

Rightly observed by learned senior expert Mr. T Kalaiselvan, the queriest is testing experts on this platform, which is abuse of this site and such queriest should be blocked.
