Dear Sir
I have a consumer dispute pending against Airtel wherein the latter had deleted my prepaid number in 2011 without assigning any reasons though during the course of argument it is insisting on non-submission of KYC documents during the verification drive as well as expiry of the validity of the connection being the main cause of deletion of the prepaid number, which is not at all true.
That prepaid number has already been re-allotted to another customer since the date of deletion of the prepaid number allotted to me for which I have filed this complaint against illegal deletion of my prepaid account. But I do not have any evidence to counter their claim.
I just want to know :-
- Is it technically feasible by any prosecuting agency to determine the validity of the prepaid number during my ownership period from the SIM no. that is still available with me so as to establish that fact in the court of law, when needed?
- Is there any TRAI rule where to get back my Call Data Records (CDRs) for the period before deletion of account i.e. even after 4 years of deletion of my prepaid number and copy of the rule thereof, if any?
Thanks and Regards.
