Hi,
I am 68 year old woman living abroad. I have filed a court case in Bombay High Court ( original side ) in 1998. Is there any procedure or facility for speedy trial of this case,. My kids are born here and do not have any knowledge of Indian Laws. What should I do For Speedy hearing?

Sir, you can file a petition under S.482 of CrPC before the High Court praying for speedy trial giving sufficient groundsfor the prayer.

You can also request your advocate to explore the possibilities of transferring the case to fast track court, if it falls under the criteria. Try to keep your selves ready with the evidences to be produced to the court in support of the evidences. If the opposition party is simply passing time, bring it to the notice of the court appropriately.
