I am a Tamilnadu government servant. in 2001, i was transferred to other region without any reasons. while I was transferred there was enough vacant post existed in the region where I was serving. Due to family reasons i was unable to take up the transfer. Hence i approached my administrative authorities to cancel the orders. But nothing happened.
So, with no other alternative, i approached the tribunal and obtained stay order. In the mean time, they filled the post where I was already working.
so, i approached the court for contempt of stay order.
The case came to conclusion after a year. And the case was dismissed saying it as not a contempt. And finally they gave a posting in the same region where I was working already.
Now my query is how the period of stay will be treated and how it will be regularised. Because i am in the verge of retirement and my office has not regularised that period in my service register. pls guide me
