Tenant not vacating the premises

sir,

i gave my basement for lease of 40000 rupees per month. now tenant has not paid lease for two months and is not vacating my premises even after the contract expires last month.

also , he is asking for 2 lack rupees for the damage oocured due to water leakage from the roof of my basement.

sir, please tell what can i do to get my place vacated

you need to serve the legal notice to your tenant through an advocate thereby asking him to vacate the premises and settle your dues.

 

Failing which you need to file the civil suit against the tenant and claim damages from him.

firstly, you have to send legal notice to your tenant by your lawyer for vacating and demages and give to him sufficient to tenant. that is first step of your remedy
