Transfer of pagdi system property

Dear All,

 

Can anybody tell me, how much money (as per the rule, if any) can landlord ask for transfer of room from father's name to son's name. my room's value is approx Rs. 15 Lakh and landlord is asking Rs. 52000/- for transfer.

There is no rule for Pagdi system.

52000 for a property valued at 15 lacs is chicken feed. Pay and get over with it. He could have asked for more.

From father to son the landlord has to transfer the rent reciept without any charge., whatever the value of property.

Please specify your place and state and refer the rent act of your state.

The landlord is demanding only 3.5% of market value. It is amazing. Mr. Yogeshwar, What if the place is mumbai and Maharashtra Rent Control Act 1999 prevails?
