Transfer/sale of uds in land?

1 acer land is registered to 40 members with uds and given for development to a builder under an agreement, development not yet transferred, out of 40 members, 1 member wish to transfer/sale his uds in such land to his friend. 

Is it possible to do so? If yes, then how can it would be done?

Yes, it is possible to transfer or sell an undivided share (UDS) in land. The member wishing to transfer their UDS can do so by executing a sale deed in favor of their friend. This sale deed should be registered with the local sub-registrar's office to make the transfer legally valid. It's advisable to consult a legal expert to ensure all necessary steps and documentation are properly completed.
