Unusual situation..!!

if someone has filed a case against me, and i dont have money to hire a lawyer  and  defend myself..., what do i do now?

a:> can i just defend myself without a lawyer..??

b:>can i skip the court session by saying i dont have lawyer for myself..??

c:>is any other optin left for me..??

You can request legal services authority to provide you free lawyer and free legal aid, if you are not able to appoint a lawyer.

Dear gaurav, a) yes you can defend yourself.Every person has right to defend himself and plead his case. b) No you can't skip the session of court by merely saying that you don't have a lawyer. c) you can ask the court to appoint a lawyer for your legal aid.
