What should I reply in VISA document?

I was remanded for 14 days and later acquitted. Remand happened on 2010 and acquitted on 2014. Now when I apply for the US VISA, the forms ask for "Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime, even though subject of s pardon, amnesty or other similar action?" What should I reply here?

Although you were arrested by the police on complaint made against you, but found not guilty and acquitted by the competent judicial court in India, hence not convicted for any offence or crime.

The acquittal shall help you…

Even if you chose to mention arrest narrate the acquittal also…

Hope you have the certified copies of complaint, FIR, court order of acquittal.

Thank you Sir. Can I mention NO then? Will it create any problem for me in the future?

Thank you Sir. I have all the files with me. However mentioning all those details may take back my opportunity. Will saying "NO" be a problem for me in future?
