my friend got married in march 2010. filed divorce in august 2010 on cruelty grounds. wife filed rcr and 498a.
divorce case dismissed and rcr allowed. my frnd filed appeal in high court.
family court order clearly says that from the evidence it is clear that cruelty is there on part of my friend and that his wife is innocent. now his wife filed for maintenance.
my friend works in s/w firm earns a salary of 80000/- per month. no dependents.( sister married,brother gets salary , father gets pension , has two buildings in hyderabad). now how much amount can be granted to wife. in application for bail in 498a , my friend mentioned that he gets 65000/- salary( 3years back), and now he gets 80000/-. can the past statement of 60000/-be used by them?
friends wife is mba and as per info she just completed law. no practice.
my friend took house in colaba for rent for 30000/- . does this help?
