Does entering into an agreement as per Contracts Act is a commercial activity? and a society (which is a "not for profit" organisation) can operate under commerical laws.
Jaydeep Kurup (ACS, LLB) 30 July 2008
Any society duly registered under the respective societies act is a legal entity and all laws applicable to contracts become applicable to it.
