Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Monday stayed the orders of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which withdrew the recognition of 14 B.Ed colleges in the state. The judgement was delivered by Justice P.V. Sanjay Kumar, hearing the writ petitions filed by the 14 colleges. These colleges challenged the order passed by the authorities on September 29, 2008.The colleges alleged to the apex court that the prescribed procedure was not followed for such a drastic step.
