Applications for Filling up of Posts of Chairperson and Members of Lokpal Invited

The Government has invited applications for filling up one post of Chairperson and eight posts of Members in the Lokpal. Out of eight Members in the Lokpal, four posts are of Judicial Members and other four posts are for other than Judicial Members.

The Government has circulated these vacancies to the Registrar of the Supreme Court, the Registrars of High Courts, Chief Secretaries of State Governments and Secretaries in the Central Government Departments and Ministries, calling for nomination of eligible candidates. The vacancies have also been advertised to directly invite applications from eligible candidates.

The details about qualifications, selection procedure, tenure of posts, salary and allowances and the application form are available at the Department of Personnel and Training website i.e. www.persmin.nic.in.          

Applications, complete in all respect must be addressed to the Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training, Room No. 112, First Floor, North Block, New Delhi-110001 and should reach latest by February 7, 2014.
