The special full bench of the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court today reserved its judgment on missing documents of Ayodhya’s disputed structure for tomorrow.

The special full bench comprising Justices Saiyed Rafat Alam, Sudhir Agarwal and D B Sharma after hearing both the sides said they would give the verdict tomorrow.

The court had fixed the hearing into the case today as the documents related to Ayodhya’s disputed structure and dating back to 1949 were found missing by the Uttar Pradesh government.

In its earlier hearing on July 7, the state government had presented an affidavit and said five of the seven documents of 1949 as demanded by the court were unavailable.

Remaining two were differing in regard to facts.

The state government had then sought time for action into the missing documents matter.

On July 9, the UP government had lodged an FIR in the Hazratganj kotwali in the state capital into the matter related to Ayodhya’s missing documents that included messages of former Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru.

The government had said the documents had went missing after an official, who was going with the documents to present before Librahan Commission, died in a road accident.

Later, the UP government has recommended a CBI probe into the case.

A total of 23 documents including some government correspondence of 1949 were found missing from the government files.
