Delhi HC Office Bearers 1 Day Hunger Strike Against CrPC Changes Dated:18-02-2009 Source: UNI DELHI The Delhi High Court Bar Association office- bearers went on hunger strike for a day to support the protesting lawyers of different bar associations against the recent amendment in the Code of Criminal Procedures. The office-bearers of the association sat on the strike outside the Delhi High Court premises which include President K C Mittal, Vice President J P Singh and Secretary D K Sharma. They were also protesting against the inclusion of advocates within the ambit of the new annexment of Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) Act. Work in the District Bar Association in Delhi has been disrupted in view of the lawyer’s strike. However, there was no call was given to abstain from work in the Delhi High Court.
