HARYANA TO HOLD SPACIAL PARIVARK MAHILA LOK ADALATS 12/22/2008 The Haryana State Legal Authority has decided to hold Special Parivarik Mahila Lok Adalats in all districts and Sub-divisional judicial complexes in the state on February 14. These Lok Adalats are meant for redressal and speedy disposal of cases relating to marriage and family affairs, including the cases under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, and Section 125 of the Criminal Procedure Code 1973, District and Sessions Judge-cum-Member Secretary, Haryana State Legal Services Authority H S Bhangoo said. He directed the judicial officers concerned to take up all the matrimonial and family affairs cases along with special Lok Adalats already fixed for that date for compoundable criminal cases, including cases under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. He also directed them to make all efforts to settle the maximum number of cases in these special Lok Adalats, he added. UNI
