HC Grants Bail To 52 AIADMK Men

MADURAI:

The Madurai bench of Madras High Court on Monday granted conditional bail to 52 AIADMK men, including Melur MLA R Samy, who were arrested
for allegedly assaulting the police and issuing murder threats to them at Perungudi during the bypoll to Tirumangalam assembly constituency.

Justice P R Sivakumar directed the AIADMK men to sign before their respective Magistrates daily.

Earlier, the Tirumangalam Magistrate had rejected them bail, forcing them to approach the High Court.
