SHILLONG:
The Shillong Bench of the Gauhati High Court on Friday stayed the recent order of KHADC suspending the Syiem of Hima Mylliem Latho Manik Syiem. The High Court order came in response to a petition filed by Mr Manik against his suspension by KHADC. Sources said Mr Manik would resume office as the Syiem of Hima Mylliem on January 12.
