National Policy on Domestic Workers

The Ministry of Labour & Employment is considering to formulate a National Policy on Domestic Workers. However, there is no time frame.

No such committee is required as a number of stakeholders workshops/meetings have been conducted.

The Ministry of Labour & Employment has invited the comments of general public on the draft National Policy on Domestic workers by putting up the salient features of the policy on the web site of the Ministry of Labour & Employment on 10/10/2017.

This information was given by Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar Union Minister of State (I/C) for Labour and Employment in written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today.
