Sushant Singh Rajput's family files FIR against Rhea Chakraborty for abatement of suicide

In a major development in the Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case, Sushant’s father has filed a FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and her family including Indrajit Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty, Shruti Modi, Showik Chakraborty and others under Sections 341, 342, 380, 406,420, 306 and 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code

Sushant's family's lawyer, Senior Advocate Vikas Singh,in an interview said that the case had been filed in Patna, Bihar as there was a part of the cause of action. He added that Patna Police was a little hesitant to register a FIR but chief minister Nitish Kumar and minister Sanjay Jha explained the matter to them and an FIR was registered.

He alleged that the Mumbai police was attempting to derail the investigationby forcing them to give names of big production houses and get them involved.

The family claimed about Rhea Chakraborty's involvement in Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide - including the deterioration of the actor's mental health while he was her partner, her choice of psychologists & medicines for the actor, the Rs 15 crore being mysteriously siphoned off from the actor's account.

In the complaint, Sushant’s father alleged that Rhea Chakraborty and her relatives “committed fraud” and “pressurised the actor for financial gains”. He added that Chakraborty “got in touch with his son with a motive to establish herself in the film industry using his contacts and she and her relatives started interfering in his affairs”.

He also highlighted that a request had been made to the DCP four months earlier, asking them to keep an 'eye on Sushant' fearing his 'bad company'.
