Teenage girl 'raped' by boyfriend 18 Jan 2008, 0142 hrs IST, TNN Print Email Discuss Share Save Comment Text: HYDERABAD: A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her lover after confining her at his friend's room in Patigadda. The minor is a resident of DAD quarters, Karkhana. Raju (19), the neighbour of the girl, works at a juice shop at Begumpet. Raju's co-worker Ravi (19) and the owner of the fruit juice stall, Irshad (19) used to visit his house frequently and during these visits, Irshad developed intimacy with the girl, they added. "On January 14, the girl went missing from her house and after searching for her for two days her parents lodged a 'missing' complaint on January 16," Karkhana inspector of police Mohammed Taher Ali said. Police first grilled Raju who told them that Irshad might have information about the girl. Police could not find Irshad at his home in Tolichowki and went to check at Ravi's room. "There we found Ravi, Irshad and the girl," the police said. Irshad allegedly raped her.
