Judges though being guardians of justice, they are evenly citizens of India. they shall also abide the law and without any doubt declare their assets to general public as its general publics' right to be informed.

judges are beleved to be gaurdians of justice,but they are also law abiding citizen only.Today corruption is omnipresent in every walk of life,so it is a must for judges to keep their life very tranparent to the soceity

Judges should make precedence in this regard and will automatically make a compulsory disclosure for the politicians, ministers and other businessmen in due course.

of course yes, if not no one will no how much assets they have. more over the jugde's are paid in average salary in india so it is very important to know whether their assets are more than what they are paid.

It is very strange that judges are hesitating to declare their assets. One of the Judges Hon'ble Judge Sri Shylendrakumar of Karnataka High Court has written a beautiful article on this subject in the Kannada News paper and he has declared his assets. But the Chief Justice of Karnataka who has been evaluated to Supreme Court has criticised this article and said that it is publicity. The version of CJ is strange and cheap minded

If Judges are made to declarte their assets in public there would lot of frivolous and malicious acquisition against judges, tht would be nothing but more complicating scean.

Why this debate? Why they are being treated above common man? If judges think that they are doing justice,what makes them different from others?They should volunteer for it.

Judge being holding an important post of upholding justice to the people, must be a role model to everyone and comply with the disclosure of his or her assets. Their refusal give bad impression among the people.

JUDGES ARE ENJOYING REPUTED STATUS AND THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OF UNDOUBTED INTEGRITY. THEY ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN IAS.APART FROM DISCLOSING THE ASSETS THEY SHOULD BE MADE QUESTIONABLE IN THEIR WRONG JUDGEMENTS

Judges are part of Society why they should be exempted from disclosure of Assets. It will also help reducing corruption charges on judiciary
