Why reservation, why such discrimination of male and female, for any body, only merit should be criteria, becoz of this reservation system India is loosing intellectuals in all fields. better eradicate reservation system.

Half of the population is not given proper and justified representation in this men operated society .In many cases i think women can prnounce better judgements then men .

I always oppose reservations be it on the basis of religion, sex or economic conditions or whatever. Let those be in the posts if they deserve it coz of their capability to handle the same. I have voted "cant say".

All are equal in the eye of law. Mere having women will not do good rather we need quality of judges in any judiciary, especially in lower courts. Lower courts are most important part of Judiciary, which is solely responsible for the image of judiciary in the eye of common/ordinary people.

I said yes because in order to show women her decision making power, ability to handle the matter or situation she have to get fare chance, and one of the of the way to show all this thing is that by way of getting more representation in higher judiciary.

I just want to say " Woman is not equal to man but she is superior to man " I agree with this. This is mentioned in the book of " Law & social transformation in India" by Malik n Rawal.

i ve said cant say, only for the reason that the judicial appointments shall not contain any reservation may be on sex or caste etc. the criteria shall be competence, if a particular female is found competent then there should not be any problem, but if the posts are to be filed merely to raise representation then its a bad idea.
